Peking Express is long established busy take out and delivery Quick Service Chinese food restaurant with no dine in.

Candidates should live close by or be a short TTC ride away from 217 Parliament Street, near the intersection of Queen and Parliament Street.
The job requires the candidate to support counter and kitchen personnel and provide guidance in customer care. Most importantly, management of customer issues to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.
The candidate will organize the flow of orders into the kitchen and dispatch the orders in an organized fashion by district, location and time to delivery drivers.
The job requires the candidate to assist and direct the drivers if issues arise regarding customers , delivery issues or difficulties.
The candidate must be able to do and assist in all the task of the counter help personnel. The counter help job is to call out the orders to the kitchen staff, close the lids, organize and pack the orders accurately to each delivery or pick up. Also, they will take phone orders over the phone, from walk in customers and from online order platforms and printer. Other duties include stocking up supplies, light cleaning and some light kitchen help.




Calculations of driver end of day cash summaries and ensure accurate and detailed reporting of invoices.
The candidate will be required to ensure accurate and proper handling of POS, online and cash register systems.
Customer service experience required. Restaurant experience an asset but not required.
Supervisory experience an asset but will train the proper candidate.
Candidate must have excellent communication skills and fluent in English.
Must have excellent organization skills and able to multitask under pressure.
Enthusiastic and energetic qualities are necessary to keep up in this rapid paced setting.
Candidate will need to start training as counter help and phone person to acquire the necessary skills before being assessed for the Supervisory position.

Candidate should live close to work location or be a short TTC ride away.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
