Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cabinet Maker to join our team. As a Cabinet Maker, you will play a crucial role in the woodworking production processes, ensuring the fabrication and assembly of high-quality cabinetry and furniture. Your expertise in utilizing power tools, reading blueprints, and executing accurate woodworking techniques will be essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all woodworking production processes, ensuring efficiency and quality in fabrication and assembly
Collaborate with designers and engineers to interpret architectural drawings accurately
Utilize power tools to fabricate, build, and assemble cabinetry and furniture according to specifications
Manage a team of woodworking specialists, providing guidance and support as needed
Coordinate work orders and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines
Conduct quality control inspections to guarantee products meet required standards
Maintain a protected and organized work setting in the shop
Order necessary materials and supplies, monitoring inventory levels effectively
Experience:
Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or similar role in woodworking production
Proficiency in using power tools for woodworking tasks
Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
Knowledge of carpentry techniques such as siding, tile laying, flooring installation, plumbing, concrete forming, etc.
Experience in restoring furniture or cabinetry is a plus
Solid understanding of blueprint reading for precise fabrication and assembly
