Overview

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Cashier/Customer Service representative to join our retail team. This role involves engaging with customers, handling transactions accurately, and providing exceptional service to ensure a positive shopping experience. The ideal candidate will possess robust communication skills, be proficient with POS systems, and have a passion for helping customers find the products they need. Multilingual abilities and technical sales experience are a plus, enabling us to serve a diverse clientele effectively.

Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases in a skilled manner
Operate POS systems efficiently for cash handling, credit card processing, and returns
Provide product demos and upsell items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales
Maintain merchandising displays and ensure the sales floor is organized and inviting
Answer customer inquiries via phone or in person with excellent phone etiquette
Manage inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment as needed
Handle customer complaints or concerns promptly to ensure resolution and satisfaction




Support sales goals through effective communication and suggestive selling techniques
Keep accurate records of transactions and maintain cash register accuracy throughout shifts

Qualifications
Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly desirable
Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills
Ability to perform product demos and engage customers through upselling techniques
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and time management capabilities
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism
Demonstrated ability to work well within a team and independently when needed
Knowledge of merchandising principles and retail sales strategies is a plus
