Job: Furniture Warehouse Worker

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Job Overview

We are currently hiring a Furniture Warehouse Worker to join a busy furniture warehouse team. The successful candidate will assist with loading and unloading furniture, moving products within the warehouse, preparing orders, and performing a variety of general warehouse duties.

This is a physically active position suited to someone who is comfortable handling furniture and other large or bulky items and working as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
Load and unload furniture and other products from trucks and delivery vehicles
Move, lift, and organize furniture throughout the warehouse
Assist with receiving and putting away incoming inventory
Pick and prepare furniture orders for delivery or shipment
Safely handle and protect furniture to prevent damage
Organize warehouse areas and maintain a clean and safe work workplace
Assist with wrapping, packaging, labeling, and staging products




Help with inventory organization and general warehouse tasks
Follow workplace health and safety procedures
Perform other duties as assigned by the warehouse supervisor

Requirements
Previous warehouse, furniture handling, moving, shipping/receiving, or general labour experience is an asset
Ability to lift and move heavy and bulky furniture safely
Physically capable of standing, walking, bending, lifting, and working throughout the shift
Good attention to detail when handling furniture and customer orders
Reliable and punctual with a solid work ethic
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse workplace
Safety-conscious and able to follow instructions

Schedule & Compensation
Monday to Friday
8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
$19.00 per hour (paid bi-weekly)
