Summary

We are seeking a skilled Manitowoc 16000 Crane Operator or someone with Lattice Boom Crawler Crane operating experience to join our team in West Coast Newfoundland. This vital role involves operating heavy maritime cranes to support our offshore and marine projects. Based in Canada, you will contribute to our mission of providing reliable and safe maritime solutions.

Responsibilities

- Operate Manitowoc 16000 cranes or similar lattice-boom crawler cranes safely and efficiently during offshore and onshore projects.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on crane equipment.
- Collaborate with rigging teams to ensure proper load handling.
- Follow all safety protocols and industry regulations.
- Maintain explicit communication with team members and project managers.




- Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues related to crane operations.
- Document operational activities and report any incidents or irregularities.
- Support the overall safety culture of the organization.

Qualifications

- Proven experience operating Manitowoc 16000 cranes or similar heavy-duty lattice-boom crawler cranes.
- Level 1 Crane operator certification.
- Solid understanding of crane safety procedures and regulations.
- Mechanical knowledge related to crane operation and maintenance.
- Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Valid certifications for crane operation as per Canadian standards.
- Physical fitness suitable for demanding maritime work.
- Prior experience in offshore or maritime settings is preferred.
