Hydrovac Swamper/ Operator

We are currently seeking ambitious and hardworking individuals to join our team as Hydrovac Swampers and operators to work in our client sites.

Job Duties/Responsibilities
Operate and drive the Hydrovac in a protected and qualified manner
Responsible for the successful & efficient completion of hydro excavation projects
Comply with company policies and procedures, health and safety procedures, department of transportation, and hazardous/waste requirement regulations
Demonstrate a commitment to safety and environmental compliance
Applicants for the swamper position must have a class 5 driver’s license minimum with driving experience.
Applicants for the Operator position must hold a valid class 3 OR 1 with (Q)Airbrake endorsement or equivalence.
First aid Alberta/BC, CSO, and H2S are mandatory.

Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of hydro-vac experience




Valid class 3 driver’s license with air brakes endorsement STANDARD Transmission
Ground Disturbance, CSTS, H2S, Confined Space, and Fall Protection tickets will be considered an asset
Clean drivers abstract
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
Must be capable of working extended hours and variable shifts
Must be in good health and physical condition to effectively perform the duties assigned
Integrity and reliability
Excellent communication skills
Team player
