To support this growth, we are looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Manager .
Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Manufacturing Engineering Manager will own the day-to-day technical direction of a dedicated, fast-scaling manufacturing unit. Main responsibilities include:
- Owning the selection, installation, commissioning, and validation of recent equipment, automation, and technology
- Leading capital equipment (capex) project planning and execution, with a clear eye on return on investment and scalability
- Being a genuine, regular presence on the plant floor, diagnosing and resolving equipment issues hands-on
- Designing, owning, and continuously refining the preventive and predictive maintenance program for critical production lines
- Leading manufacturing engineering activities, including process documentation, work instructions, and technical standards
- Applying Lean principles such as 5S, Kaizen,
and Value Stream Mapping to support equipment and process goals
- Developing capacity plans that keep pace with demand that is tripling year over year
- Building, coaching, and developing a team, sharing technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
Skills and Qualifications
- An engineer at heart: someone who genuinely wants to understand how the equipment works, can troubleshoot it hands-on, and builds durable technical solutions rather than temporary fixes
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent hands-on technical experience leading capex and equipment projects
- 7 to 10 plus years in manufacturing engineering, plant engineering, or capex project leadership
- Experience in high-volume or high cadence manufacturing is a strong asset
- A builder's mindset, comfortable creating structure and process where none exists yet
