What You’ll Do

As a Marine Service Technician, you’ll play an important role in keeping our customers’ vessels safe, reliable, and ready for the water. Your responsibilities will include:

- Inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of marine vessels and systems
- Performing routine and preventative maintenance on boats and marine equipment
- Working on outboard and inboard engines, including troubleshooting and repairs
- Inspecting and testing engines, propellers,



steering systems, and navigational equipment
- Removing and replacing damaged, corroded, rotted, or rusted components as required
- Reading and interpreting repair and installation orders to determine required materials, equipment, and labour
- Using a variety of hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and marine-specific equipment
- Identifying mechanical issues and recommending appropriate repairs or maintenance
- Sourcing and purchasing tools, parts, and supplies required to complete jobs
- Communicating with supervisors, vendors, suppliers, and other professionals as needed
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Providing qualified, high-quality service that reflects our commitment to our customers

What You Bring
- Marine Technician certification or equivalent hands-on marine/mechanical experience
- Experience working with marine engines and vessel systems
- Familiarity with Mercury Marine products is an asset, or a willingness to develop expertise with the brand
- Practical experience using tools and equipment for marine maintenance and repair
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills




- Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Strong hand-eye coordination and the ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC) is an asset
- Valid driver’s licence is an asset
