Come make people’s days a little sweeter.

Lee’s Donuts started in 1979 as a little mom-and-pop donut shop in the heart of Granville Island Public Market. More than 45 years later, we’re still doing what we’ve always done: making fresh, classic donuts and creating the kind of experience that makes people happy they stopped by.

We’ve grown a lot since those early days, but we never want to lose what makes Lee’s, Lee’s.

We care about great donuts, good people, warm hospitality and having some fun along the way. And as we continue to grow, we’re looking for someone who can help turn excellent ideas into great marketing — and, ultimately, get more people through our doors.

It’s marketing.

But with considerably more donuts.

So, what does a Marketing Administrator actually do?

You make things happen. Our Operations and leadership teams have lots of ideas about how we can grow Lee’s, promote our locations, connect with customers and build our brand.

As our Part-Time Marketing Administrator, your job is to help keep those ideas moving and support the day-to-day coordination and administration behind our marketing efforts.

You’ll work closely with the team to help coordinate promotions, organize marketing materials, update information, support social media and content, assist with events and make sure the little details don’t get missed.

This is a hands-on support role for someone who is organized, dependable and comfortable juggling different priorities.

Some days you might be coordinating promotional materials for our locations, updating a marketing calendar or helping schedule content.

Other days you could be organizing files and assets, communicating with stores, helping prepare for an event, pulling together basic campaign results or jumping in to support whatever marketing project is happening that week.

You don’t need to come in with all the answers. We’re looking for someone who is curious, takes initiative and is willing to learn. Someone who sees something that needs to get done and helps make it happen.

And yes, there will probably be donuts involved in most of these scenarios.

You might be our kind of person if...

- You’re proactive. You don’t always need to be told what comes next. If you see something that needs attention, you’re comfortable taking the initiative or asking how you can help.
- You’re a doer.

You enjoy checking things off the list and helping turn marketing ideas into something our stores and customers can actually see and experience.
- You’re organized. Calendars, files, promotional materials, deadlines and multiple projects don’t scare you. You like keeping things on track.
- You’re detail-oriented. Whether you’re updating information, preparing materials or coordinating a promotion, you notice the little things that make a difference.
- You’re creative. You’re comfortable contributing ideas and finding fun, practical ways to support the Lee’s brand.
- You’re collaborative. You’re comfortable communicating and working with Operations, store teams, leadership, creative partners and outside vendors.
- You’re comfortable with the basics of data. You can help pull together sales, campaign or social media results and spot simple trends or interesting takeaways.
- You’re flexible. Priorities can change quickly in a growing food and retail business, and you’re comfortable jumping in where support is needed.
- You’re curious and eager to learn. You ask questions, want to understand how things work and are interested in developing your marketing skills along the way.
- You can juggle the big and small stuff. One minute you might be helping coordinate a campaign; the next, you’re organizing files, updating a spreadsheet or making sure promotional materials get to the right location.

And most importantly, you’re a good human who wants to work with other good humans. Marketing, brand, retail or hospitality experience is a bonus, but we’re much more interested in the person than the resume.

We can teach you donuts.

Curiosity, initiative, creative, and a drive to make things happen? That part you have to bring yourself.

What you’ll be actually doing...

- Supporting the day-to-day coordination and administration of marketing activities across Lee’s locations.
- Helping coordinate campaigns, promotions, product launches and seasonal initiatives, including timelines,

materials and store communications.
- Maintaining marketing calendars, project trackers, promotional schedules and organized marketing files.
- Supporting Lee’s social media through content coordination, scheduling and identifying content opportunities.
- Assisting with the planning and execution of events, pop-ups and community activations, including occasional evenings or weekends.
- Coordinating with store teams, vendors and external partners to keep marketing projects moving and deadlines on track.
- Helping gather basic sales, campaign and social media results to understand how initiatives are performing.
- Bringing forward ideas and jumping in where needed to help keep Lee’s marketing organized, engaging and unmistakably Lee’s.

The important stuff

Pay: Starting at $20.00 per hour and is negotiable. Position: Part-Time Permanent

100% Employer Paid benefits after passing your 3 month probation.

This is a hybrid marketing role.

Lee’s is a physical, customer-facing brand, and some of the best marketing opportunities happen inside our stores and at our events. You’ll need to be comfortable visiting locations and being on-site for campaigns, activations, content and events when required. Additionally we have weekly onsite meetings at head office in the lower mainland.

Some events and activations will happen outside regular business hours, so occasional evening and weekend availability will be required.

Why Lee’s?

Because we think where you work, and who you work with, matters. You’ll have the opportunity to help shape how an iconic Vancouver brand continues to grow nationally.

You’ll become part of a Vancouver brand that has been around since 1979 and somehow still gets genuinely excited about a perfectly packed box of donuts.

You’ll see your ideas go from conversation to campaign to something customers experience in real life.

And unlike marketing something nobody particularly wants, you’ll be marketing donuts.

That’s a pretty good gig.

We take our donuts seriously.

Ourselves? Considerably less so.

If you’re looking for a place where you can work hard, meet great people, be yourself and have some fun along the way, we should probably talk.

Come grow Lee’s with us!

Side effects may include analyzing donut sales data more intensely than you ever expected.
