Main Responsibilities: Works in Shipping/Receiving area. Verifies incoming parts and organizes their distribution into the production area. Prepares related documents and determines proper shipping methods for ensuring on time delivery to customers.
Duties
- Unpack received parts, pack outgoing parts - Inspect and verify incoming parts, confirm receiving documents match customer contract - Note and report discrepancies and obvious damages - Ensure correct parts and documentation accompany incoming and outgoing work orders - Operate software/databases of shipping companies (i.e. FedEx, UPS) - Accurately complete parts picking requests in a timely manner - Re-fill shop floor bin inventory, as required - Suggest improvements to procedures, to improve process time, and/or reduce costs - Coordinate and monitor logistics of the movement of parts and supplies and ensure supplies,
materials are shipped and received on schedule - Prepare and process all customs documents for international and U.S.

Qualifications (Skills/Knowledge)
- Able to read and comprehend complex documents - Solid aptitude for reading part numbers, serial numbers and quantities correctly - Basic mathematics skills - Customer contact skills - Must have experience using Microsoft Office products - Attention to detail Qualifications (Education and Experience):
- Experience shipping with FedEx, UPS, DHL and Purolator preferred - Experience using inventory ERP systems would be an asset - Aerospace background an asset - High School Diploma/ Post Secondary Education Preferred - Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada We thank all candidates for your interest, only those selected for interview will be contacted.
