We work with students from elementary school through high school and provide academic tutoring based on the Alberta Education curriculum, including senior high school courses and advanced academic preparation.

Requirements 1. Strong Knowledge of the Alberta Curriculum
Candidates should be familiar with the Alberta Education curriculum, particularly the relevant junior high and high school courses in their subject area.
Experience tutoring Alberta high school students is an asset.
2. Strong High School Academic Record
We are looking for candidates with excellent academic performance in the subject they teach.
- Math instructors: Strong high school mathematics grades required
- Chemistry instructors: Strong high school chemistry grades required
- Biology instructors: Strong high school biology grades required
AP course experience with high grades is strongly preferred. Candidates who completed AP Math, AP Chemistry, AP Biology, or other advanced high school courses with excellent results will be given preference.
IB experience is also an asset.
3. Bilingual – English & Chinese
Candidates must be able to communicate effectively in both English and Chinese.
The ability to explain complex academic concepts clearly in Chinese while delivering lessons in English is highly valued.
4. Calgary High School Education
Candidates are required to have completed their full high school education in Calgary.
We are particularly interested in candidates who are familiar with:

- Course selection and graduation requirements
- The learning environment of Calgary students
- AP and other advanced academic programs
Preferred Candidates We especially welcome applications from:
- University students and graduates
- Students or graduates majoring in Mathematics, Science, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or related fields
- Candidates with outstanding AP or IB results
- Experienced high school tutors
- Candidates with previous experience teaching Alberta curriculum courses
