Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Kitchen Packer to join our kitchen team. The Kitchen Packer is responsible for accurately and efficiently linking sausages, racking jerky and sausage, removing items from smoker, putting product in coolers, packaging prepared food items for our customers. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions, and a commitment to ensuring order accuracy and food safety.

Responsibilities:

- Food Assembly and Packaging: Assemble and package food items according to order specifications.
- Quality Check: Visually inspect food items for quality and presentation before packaging. Report any discrepancies or issues to the kitchen staff.
- Sealing and Labeling: Securely seal packages. Apply accurate labels with customer names, or any other required information.
- Maintaining Supplies: Monitor packaging supplies (containers,



bags, labels, etc.) and inform supervisors when restocking is needed.
- Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized packing station, adhering to all hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front team.
- Adherence to Procedures: Follow all company policies and procedures related to food handling, packaging, and order fulfillment.
- Assisting with other tasks: As needed, assist with basic kitchen tasks to support the smooth operation of the kitchen.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently and quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- *Previous experience in a related kitchen setting is preferred
