Our client is seeking a caring and reliable Residential Caregiver to provide essential support within a residential facility in Kimberley . Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Help residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning as needed.
- Administer medications as prescribed, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Prepare and serve meals, and assist residents with eating as required.
- Monitor residents' health status, reporting any changes or concerns to nursing staff or supervisors.
- Engage residents in social activities and provide companionship to promote their emotional well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for all residents.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a caregiver, preferably in a residential or home care setting.
- A certificate in Caregiving or equivalent qualification is preferred.
- Strong understanding of basic health needs and safety procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
