Accountable for meeting sales targets associated with Linde Canada packaged gas business.What you will enjoy doingAssist customers with welding applications and product selection to ensure Linde products meet their requirementsProcess customer orders efficiently and respond to walk-in and telephone sales inquiriesSell gases and welding products to both walk-in and telephone customersFocus on up-selling gases and other welding products to customers in person and over the phoneProcess all cash, charge, and credit card orders, amend orders as needed for invoicingMaintain local inventory control and manage branch stock, including surplus inventory for hard goods and cylindersComplete end-of-day, week, and month processes including SOX reports, the Big 5 Report, open orders, and workbench tasksBe accountable for shipping and receiving customer orders and branch transfersWhat makes you greatHigh‑school diploma or equivalent experience in an industrial supplies or customer service environmentWork history focused on customer satisfactionDemonstrate the ability to up-sell effectivelyKnowledge of the welding industry and processes preferredProficient in Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate to advanced knowledgeExperience working in a safety‑conscious team environmentAble to lift up to 60 lbsWhy you will love working with usLinde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company.
