Family Support Worker 2– Winnipeg Child and Family Services, Department of Families (Advertisement # 4057)Salary:$17.65 – $28.47 per hour (FSW2)Closing Date:June 14, 2026Employment Equity:The Manitoba government values diversity and considers Indigenous people, visible minorities and persons with disabilities in the selection process.ResponsibilitiesUnder the direction of the assigned Coordinator, provide services to improve family functioning, parental capacity and child safety and well‑being.Participate in the development and implementation of goal‑oriented interventions for children, families, and children in care.Teach parenting and age‑appropriate life skills, budgeting, nutrition, and household management.Advocate for and assist clients in accessing community resources.Supervise family visits for children in care.Escort children and/or their parents to scheduled appointments.QualificationsEssential:Grade twelve plus one year related coursework plus one year relevant experience in a related position, OR equivalent combination of education and three years relevant experience in a related position.Experience working with children and families in a supportive manner.Excellent written communication skills, including preparation of documents in accordance with established regulations and guidelines.Strong interpersonal skills with ability to engage stakeholders such as children, youth, parents, social workers, supervisors and collaterals.Excellent verbal communication skills.Ability to work with families,
