Join FNHA as a Nursing Practice Consultant specializing in mental health and substance use. Drive improvements in nursing practices within First Nations communities in a hybrid mode.

This role is an excellent chance for registered nurses with experience in community, public health, or acute care settings. You will implement training initiatives and enhance the nursing skills of community staff, integrating First Nations cultural principles into care delivery.

A commitment to advocating for mental health is essential for success in this permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:
Support community nursing through skilled educational activities
Develop training programs focused on mental health care
Collaborate with community partners to optimize nursing practices
Educate on traditional healing methodologies and practices
Deliver evidence-based guidance in nursing care

Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
Active registration with BCCNP
Minimum of three years nursing experience
Knowledge of health determinants and inequities
Training related to mental health and addiction issues
