We are the authorized distributor of a Fortune 500 HVAC brand in Western Canada, providing advanced heating and cooling solutions for residential and commercial projects. Our company specializes in HVAC distribution, system solutions, and technical support across the region.
We are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support HVAC equipment selection, system design, and technical coordination for various projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop strong familiarity with the company’s HVAC product lines, including models, specifications, and performance parameters
- Perform HVAC equipment selection and basic system design using company products
- Assist external mechanical engineers with equipment selection and system design
- Review existing mechanical drawings and project specifications to determine appropriate equipment selections
- Conduct product comparisons and technical parameter analysis
- Support the preparation of equipment schedules and product solutions for incoming projects
- Assist in preparing technical documentation and project-related product proposals
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- HVAC industry background is considered a strong asset
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documents
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to quickly learn technical product information
- Robust communication and teamwork skills
Work Location Onsite position in Burnaby, BC
Salary negotiable based on experience
