As a sector-wide plan designed for growth, our doors are open to all Ontario universities.The RoleWe are actively looking for an Intern Analyst, Data & Technology, to join our team inFall 2026, for an8-month internship(September 2026 – April 2027). This role will be part of a growing and energetic Data & Technology team, reporting to the Director, Technology Business Management. The incumbent will be responsible for supporting various technical challenges, IT architecture, automation, documentation & research projects.This is a fantastic opportunity for a student to gain valuable work experience in a fast-growing, dynamic environment while being a part of a new pension plan.This role is based in downtown Toronto in a hybrid work environment, allowing employees the flexibility to work remotely and in-office (minimum two days per week in-office).Application DetailsPlease submit a one-page resume, cover letter and transcript as part of the application process.Specific AccountabilitiesHelp maintain our IT change, risk and security compliance programsProvide support in producing status reporting, metric tracking,



monitoring and updating technology change management logs and risk registersCoordinate with enablement teams in supporting their deliverablesUpdate and maintain list of UPP vendors to ensure all relevant Technology Due Diligence and vendor documentation is accurate and loggedIdentify opportunities to optimize existing processes leveraging productivity tools and automationResearch new technology trends and build proof‑of‑concepts for automation and analytical solutionsSpecial project assignmentsQualifications & ExperienceCurrent student or recent graduate from a Computer Science, Math, Business Technology Management or related program. Current students must have completed their second year of studies.Good time management and organizational skillsExcellent communication skills and self‑starterGood presentation skills and comfortable presenting in meetingsExperience working with technical teams and business teamsStrong knowledge of the MS suite of products (Excel, PowerPoint)Solid operating system and networking knowledgeAcademic and/or industry experience with one or more modern programming languages (Python, JavaScript, C#, Java) and developing software solutionsExperience with basic data querying (SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB)Nice‑to‑haveExperience with Cloud Development (Azure, GCP,



AWS)Experience with Microsoft Power PlatformPrior internship experience in a related roleAttributesDemonstrated ability to manage the ambiguity and shifting work demands inherent in a start‑up environmentAmbitious self‑starter and collaborative team player who brings a positive can‑do, roll‑up‑your‑sleeves attitude in a highly entrepreneurial, fast‑paced environmentResourceful and persistent in gathering and assessing information with the ability to quickly assimilate knowledgeStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenHigh degree of professionalism and integrityAlignment with UPP’s desire to be a leader in Responsible Investing, ESG, and climate changeExpected CompensationThe expected compensation for this role is an annualized base salary in the range of$50,500to$61,500. This range reflects base salaries for all intern levels and is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
