all domestic non pressboard/ paper raw materialsMonitor and adjust system transactions to support inventory accuracy in VisualProvide coverage for Supply Chain Manager absencesSupport planning and execution of monthly/ year-end inventory countsContribute to planning of cost-effective transportation plan for domestic and overseas shipments.Implement continuous improvement projects to reduce inventory levels.Perform stock checks as required.Update master data in Visual for materials and suppliers as required.Back up to Shipping/ Packaging Lead.Ensure output meets quality standards.Ensure all health and safety precautions are taken, policies are followed and enforced.The Buyer / Planner may be reassigned to other work matching their qualifications from time to time. The Buyer / Planner may also be required to complete other duties as assigned.The Buyer / Planner will initiate, propose, or provide solutions related to potential process improvements to reduce or eliminate the generation of waste, the handling or disposal of waste through reclamation and/or recycling of material.The Supply Chain department is looking for candidates with:2-3+ year of experience in a similar rolePost-Secondary EducationAbility to gather / analyze data.Robust attention to detail.Experience with multi level bills of material, is an asset.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with all levels of employees.Knowledge of manufacturing processes is an asset.Great attendance is a critical requirement.#J-18808-Ljbffr
