The Cora Group is looking for a Lead Systems Engineer that has a passion for technology, if you are someone that keeps up with the latest Market Trends, has the aptitude to design solutions to the evolving Infrastructure Technology needs, then this job is for you.Responsibilities Function as information technology SME's, participate in or oversee analytical and technical assignmentsDesign, documentation, implementation, administration, support, and maintenance of hardware, software, SaaS productsLead project-based work: evaluation, design, development, and deployment of recent infrastructure servicesServe as third-level escalation point for existing infrastructure services and end usersDesign, implement, support, monitor, and maintain infrastructure software platforms (server/client OS, messaging, database services, reporting platforms, terminal services, VPN, web proxies, and other software-based systems that underpin the IT Service Catalogue)Develop operational, installation, configuration, and upgrade documentation for hardware, security, storage, software, and other computer-related systemsLiaise between technical staff, security teams, management, users, and vendors regarding usage, standards, security, and technical mattersDiagnose and resolve computer hardware and software problemsCreate standards,



operational runbooks, and participate and lead projects across the infrastructureGather business requirements and translate them into technical solutionsProactively forecast market trends and suggest technology updates/upgradesEvaluate vendor products, conduct POCs, and engage product selectionProvide Level III support; prioritize and execute assigned tasksCoordinate all infrastructure-based activities, including design/installation of new hardware, backup/recovery, ensuring high availability and business continuityMonitor and troubleshoot server configuration and performance; develop procedures for irregularitiesDevelop and test scripts to automate routine tasksCreate, maintain, improve documents/procedures, and train peers and team members on themParticipate and provide third-level production support on a rotating basis or when called uponQualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related enterprise infrastructure engineering experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including interpersonal and customer service skills5-7 years of experience in the design, implementation, and management of complex infrastructure solutions (O365 Suite, Teams, Sharepoint, Intune,



AAD & Azure)Working knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure or AWS)Experience with Windows Server Environment (2008-2022) including Active Directory, DHCP/DNS, Group Policy, and Printing ServiceDisaster recovery planning and best practicesExperience with server/system/application monitoringUnderstanding of foundational technology: automated software distribution, security patch management, backup tools, server recovery (e.G.
