Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mobile Crane Technician to join our agile team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of heavy-duty mobile cranes and related equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help keep our fleet operational, minimize downtime, and support our ongoing projects.

Duties

- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mobile cranes, excavators, forklifts, and other heavy machinery using schematics and technical manuals.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Perform repairs including welding, assembly, electrical wiring, and component replacement to restore equipment functionality.
- Utilize technical schematics and manuals to troubleshoot complex problems efficiently.
- Operate heavy equipment safely during testing and repair procedures while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Maintain detailed service records, maintenance logs, and repair documentation for each piece of equipment.




- Assist with the assembly of new machinery and ensure all components meet manufacturer specifications before deployment.

Experience

- Proven dealership experience working with heavy machinery such as cranes, excavators, forklifts, or farm machinery.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair or industrial equipment maintenance.
- Skilled in welding, electrical troubleshooting, schematics interpretation, and mechanical assembly.
- Experience operating power tools and hand tools for repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Familiarity with Caterpillar or similar heavy equipment brands is preferred.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems related to industrial machinery is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate heavy equipment operation skills when necessary.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients or team members.
