MowGo SnowGo Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and reliable Landscape Labourer to join our dynamic team on a full-time, year-round basis. Responsibilities
- Assist with landscape installation, including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers, ensuring proper placement and health.
- Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning to maintain high standards of appearance.
- Operate various hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for tasks including digging, edging, and debris removal.
- Support irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure optimal watering practices.
- Conduct minor mechanical repairs on equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and other landscaping machinery.
- Assist with construction projects involving soil grading, retaining walls, or other landscape features.
- Maintain cleanliness of work sites by removing debris and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or construction is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Basic knowledge of horticulture principles and gardening practices.
- Familiarity with operating equipment such as excavators (training provided if necessary).
- Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and repairing landscaping machinery.
- Ability to use hand tools (shovels, rakes) and power tools safely.
- Strong work ethic with physical stamina for outdoor labor in various weather conditions.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and horticultural techniques is an asset.
- Valid driver’s license is preferred but not required; willingness to learn driving equipment if necessary.
