J Basra Trucklines is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Night Dispatcher to manage after-hours operations. This role is critical in ensuring smooth communication with drivers, tracking shipments, and handling any issues that arise overnight.
Shift:
Night Shift (Evening to Early Morning – exact hours to be discussed)
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and track trucks using GPS/ELD (Samsara)
- Communicate with drivers and provide updates/instructions
- Update shipments in TMS (TransPlus)
- Handle delays, breakdowns, and appointment changes
- Ensure all loads are moving on time
- Send status updates to customers/brokers as needed
Requirements:
- Dispatch or trucking experience
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and handle pressure
- Basic computer skills (email, tracking systems, Excel)
- Knowledge of cross-border operations is an asset
