Position #: 9013702 Expected Start Date: September 20, 2026 Union: SUN Facility: Broadview Hospital City/Town: Broadview Department: General Medical Nursing Unit Type: Casual (No guaranteed hours) FTE: Shift Information: Days Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Self-Scheduling Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Nurse C $45.830 to $56.140 Travel Required: No : Under the direction of the Health Services Manager, the Registered Nurse with Additional Authorized Practice [RN(AAP)] will be responsible for providing nursing services including the diagnoses and treatment of limited common medical disorders according to the Clinical Decision Tools (CDT) and in conjunction with their clinical knowledge and judgment; in compliance with the RN with Additional Authorized Practice (RN AAP) Practice Standards and with Saskatchewan Health Authority policies and procedures.

Experience in the utilization of electronic medical records is required.

Human Resources Exemption: No Experience - Two (2) years related experience

- One year experience working in an Emergency Room is required Education - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)



Licenses - Valid Class 5 driver's license Other Education and Training - Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certificate (PALS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS)
- Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale certificate (CTAS) Knowledge and Abilities - Ability to prescribe and dispense drugs as appropriate.
- Demonstrates knowledge of the limited common medical disorders according to CDTs
- Current clinical knowledge and skill are required in a broad range of areas.
- Ability to order, perform and interpret reports and diagnostic tests.
- Ability to diagnose/treat common medical under RN AAP Practice Standards.
- Ability to perform minor surgical and invasive procedures as appropriate.
