Location: Sidney Care Home – Sidney, BC About Sidney Care Home

Sidney Care is located on Vancouver Island in sunny Sidney, BC and offers residential care to 54 clients. Sidney Care has been in operation for many years and provides a home like environment to its residents. The facility was recently renovated and is tastefully decorated. Sidney Care works in collaboration with the Vancouver Island Health Authority, to ensure quality care to all of our clients. What You’ll Do

Coordinating

resident admissions, transfers, and discharges Completing

resident assessments and individualized care plans Administering

medications, treatments, and wound care Using

PointClickCare

and other electronic systems for documentation, including

MDS assessments Communicating with

physicians, families ,



and interdisciplinary care teams Delegating tasks to

unregulated care providers

(HCAs) Assuming

Charge Nurse duties , including overseeing care delivery and ensuring team collaboration Participating in

Care Conferences and Medication Reviews What You Bring

Active registration as a

Registered Nurse (RN)

in good standing with

BCCNM Current

CPR and First Aid certification Proficiency in electronic documentation systems , including eMAR Solid

English communication skills , both written and verbal Demonstrated

critical thinking

and

clinical decision-making

skills Previous

long-term care experience

(preferred) COVID-19 vaccination certificate What We Offer
