Responsibilities

- Assist customers in selecting eyewear that suits their style and prescription needs.
- Conduct fittings and adjustments of eyewear to ensure proper fit and comfort.
- Utilize optical equipment to dispense lenses and frames accurately.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing display of eyewear products.
- Process sales transactions efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to understand patient needs and preferences.
- Educate customers on the proper care and maintenance of their eyewear.
- Assist in patient check-out and check-in




- assist in insurance submission and records maintenance in practice management software
- Stay updated on the latest trends in optical products and technologies.

Skills

- Proficient in using optical software for patient management.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to eye care and vision correction.
- Familiarity with optical products, including lenses, frames, and contact lenses.
- Excellent communication skills, with an ability to engage effectively with customers.
- Retail sales experience that emphasizes customer satisfaction and relationship building.
