Seize the prospect at Rising Edge Group as a High-Voltage Commissioning Technologist, specializing in high-voltage electrical solutions based in Southern Alberta. This full time role combines testing, commissioning, and mentorship.

In your role, you will report to the Commissioning Manager while overseeing the commissioning process for critical infrastructure equipment. Your responsibilities include working with circuit breakers and relays, as well as training junior staff on best practices. Your safety-focused mindset will be essential as you navigate job sites and test equipment.

Key Responsibilities:



• Commission and supervise testing of major electrical equipment • Mentor junior staff in commissioning best practices • Interpret technical documents and analyze performance • Operate specialized electrical testing equipment • Ensure compliance with safety standards in the field

Requirements: • Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology • 4+ years' experience in the field • Experience with high-voltage substation commissioning • Familiarity with engineering software and tools • Willing to travel for work and have valid driving license
