Become a Health Care Aide at Optima Living in Calgary and support seniors in leading fulfilling lives. This role emphasizes compassionate assistance in daily living activities. As a Health Care Aide, you will operate under the guidance of nursing professionals. Your main objective is to assist residents with various aspects of care, including emotional, spiritual, and social support. You will ensure adherence to established care plans to promote dignity and quality of life for each resident. Key Responsibilities:
Assist with daily living tasks including grooming and meals
Document resident care activities and report to supervising staff
Respond promptly to resident requests and calls for assistance
Support the development of personalized care plans




Help facilitate social activities in collaboration with the recreation team Requirements:
Certification from an approved Health Care Aide program
Registration with the Alberta College of LPNs and HCAs
Experience in mental health or residential care is a plus
Current CPR, First Aid, and Food Secure certifications
