Contribute to Loram's safety and efficiency as a field-based Machine Operator 1, tasked with operating railway maintenance equipment and leading safety practices during operations. This position requires a blend of technical skills and safety awareness. As a key member of the operations team, the Machine Operator 1 will focus on the operation, maintenance, and inspection of critical machinery used in railway infrastructure. You will perform inspections, communicate effectively with supervisors, and execute repairs as instructed. Understanding on-track safety and leading job briefings will be essential components of your day-to-day responsibilities. Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain railway inspection equipment
Inspect machinery for defects and report findings
Lead safety briefings and ensure compliance
Input data accurately for field reporting
Conduct repairs following established guidelines Requirements:
2+ years in technical machine operations
Experience with heavy equipment preferred
Valid Driver’s License and first aid certification
Mechanical and hydraulic knowledge required
