We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Osteopathic Manual Practitioner to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients, utilizing osteopathic techniques to diagnose and treat various conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate pain management strategies and home care recommendations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a medical office or hospital setting to ensure continuity of care.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patient responses to treatments.
- Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems such as Epic.
- Engage in ongoing research to stay current with advancements in osteopathic medicine and improve patient outcomes.
- Provide acute care services when necessary, ensuring timely interventions for patients in need.
- Utilize medical terminology effectively while communicating with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Work with pediatric patients, adapting treatment approaches to meet their unique needs.
Experience Candidates should have a solid foundation in osteopathic manual therapy, with experience in pain management, home care settings, or hospital environments being highly desirable. Familiarity with electronic health record systems is preferred. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development is essential for success in this role.
