Outbound Sales Caller

About the Role

Reid’s Distillery is looking for a confident and reliable person to join our sales team and make outbound calls to retail stores across Ontario.

This is a straightforward, phone-focused position.

You do not need previous alcohol industry experience. You will not be responsible for developing sales strategies, finding leads, or managing a territory.

We’re looking for someone who is comfortable picking up the phone, having lots of short conversations every day, following a process, and keeping accurate notes.

What You’ll Do

- Make outbound calls to retail stores and other accounts
- Speak with store managers and other staff about Reid’s products
- Follow simple call objectives and talking points provided in the system
- Ask stores about product availability, inventory, ordering and distribution
- Encourage stores to order or restock products where appropriate
- Collect practical information from stores
- Record the result of each conversation and any required follow-up
- Work consistently through a prioritized daily call list
- Flag opportunities or issues that need to be passed to the sales team

- Can handle people saying no without taking it personally




- Are comfortable making a high volume of calls
- Can follow a straightforward process
- Are reliable and consistent
- Type accurately and can take clear notes
- Are comfortable using basic computer software
- Can work independently and stay focused

Previous call centre, customer service, retail, hospitality, appointment-setting or phone sales experience is helpful, but not required. Our system handles much of the prioritization and organization. Your role is to make the calls, have good conversations, capture the information, and move the account toward the next step.

Compensation

$20–$22 per hour, depending on experience.

This is an hourly position with no commission or performance-based compensation.

About Reid’s Distillery Reid’s Distillery is a family-owned Toronto distillery producing award-winning spirits and ready-to-drink products.

Our products are sold through the LCBO and other retailers across Ontario, and this position plays an important role in helping us communicate directly with stores and grow our distribution.
