Responsibilities

- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain overhead doors, openers, springs, cables, rollers, and hardware components with precision and attention to safety standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute installation and repair tasks
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete various construction-related tasks
- Conduct inspections to identify issues with existing doors and hardware, providing timely solutions to restore optimal function
- Perform related construction activities such as drywall repairs, caulking, painting touch-ups, flooring installation, tile laying, plumbing work, welding, or restoration projects as needed for comprehensive service delivery




- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company quality standards while maintaining a clean work environment
- Communicate clearly with team members and customers to explain repairs or installation procedures

Skills

- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools essential for installation and repair tasks
- Construction experience with a solid understanding of carpentry, drywall work, caulking, painting, flooring installation, tile laying, plumbing, welding, or restoration projects is highly desirable
- Knowledge of schematics related to overhead door systems for troubleshooting purposes
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly and effectively
- Excellent physical dexterity; able to lift heavy materials safely and work in various environments
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and explaining technical details to customers
