Halo Ridge Recovery is seeking a dependable, compassionate Overnight Support Staff member to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting others, can work independently, and is comfortable adapting to the unique demands of an overnight environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide a calm, supportive presence for clients throughout the night.
- Spend time with clients, listen to their concerns, and offer appropriate support.
- Drive clients into town for meetings and other approved activities.
- Complete general tidying and cleaning of common areas.
- Help maintain a secure, welcoming, and organized environment.
- Communicate relevant information to the incoming team and follow established facility procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in recovery, mental health, healthcare, residential support, or a similar environment is an asset.
- Strong interpersonal skills, empathy,
and the ability to maintain professional boundaries.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently.
- Ability to adapt to overnight work and remain attentive throughout the shift.
- Valid driver's licence and a safe driving record.
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and respond calmly to challenging situations.
Schedule 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
Overnight shifts. Applicants must be able to work consistently within this schedule.
