Our client is seeking reliable, customer-focused Package Delivery Drivers to join their team across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
The successful candidate will safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial customers while providing excellent customer service. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys driving, working independently, and working in a fast-paced delivery environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Scan and load packages onto the delivery vehicle at the beginning of each shift
- Follow assigned delivery routes throughout the GTA and surrounding areas
- Safely operate the delivery vehicle and complete routine vehicle checks
- Use GPS, delivery applications, and handheld devices to navigate routes and confirm deliveries
- Ensure packages are delivered accurately and within scheduled timelines
- Provide professional and courteous customer service
- Report delays, incidents, vehicle issues, or delivery concerns promptly
- Maintain accurate delivery records
- Follow company safety policies, procedures, and traffic regulations
- Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of the delivery vehicle
Requirements
- Valid Ontario G-Class Driver’s License
- Minimum 1 year of driving experience
- Previous delivery or courier experience is an asset
- Clean driver's abstract
- Successful completion of required background/criminal record checks
- Comfortable driving for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to approximately 65 lbs
- Comfortable using GPS and mobile delivery applications
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Ability to work independently in a rapid-paced environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
