Packaging Designer

Pay: $50–$60/hour

Our client is seeking an experienced

Packaging Designer to develop compelling, brand-aligned packaging concepts from initial creative through final production.

Responsibilities

- Conceptualize and design packaging across a variety of products and formats.

- Translate brand guidelines and creative briefs into strong packaging solutions.

- Develop layouts, mock-ups, dieline-based artwork, and production-ready files.

- Collaborate with marketing, creative, production, and cross-functional teams.

- Ensure designs meet brand, print, technical, and production requirements.

- Manage revisions and multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines.

- Review proofs and final artwork for accuracy, consistency, and quality.

- Stay current on packaging, retail, design, and consumer trends.

Qualifications

- 4+ years of packaging or graphic design experience.

- Strong portfolio demonstrating packaging and brand design work.





- High proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.

- Solid understanding of dielines, print production, typography, colour, and layout.

- Ability to develop polished concepts, presentations, and production-ready artwork.

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

- Experience with retail or consumer packaged goods.

- Experience with structural packaging or 3D mock-ups.

- Experience with Figma or other digital design tools.
