We are currently looking for a dependable Painter/Cleaner to join our team.

This role focuses primarily on preparing vacant rental suites for new tenants. The work includes painting, cleaning, basic repairs, and general suite turnover tasks.

You will work as part of a crew, working together to get suites cleaned, painted, repaired, and ready for the next tenant. The ideal candidate is reliable, hands-on, takes pride in their work, and is comfortable with physical work.

Key Responsibilities

- Paint vacant rental suites, including walls, ceilings, doors, trim, and touch-ups
- Complete basic drywall patching, sanding, and surface preparation
- Clean vacant suites thoroughly, including kitchens, bathrooms, appliances, floors, and windows
- Remove garbage and unwanted items from suites
- Complete minor repairs and general labour tasks as required
- Identify and report damage, maintenance issues, or items requiring further attention
- Keep tools, cleaning supplies, and work areas clean and organized
- Record completed work, materials used, and expenses per job
- Communicate with property management staff and contractors as required
- Work as part of a crew to complete suite turnovers efficiently





Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous painting, cleaning, maintenance, construction, or general labour experience preferred
- Experience with residential painting and drywall repairs considered an asset
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable and dependable
- Comfortable working as part of a team
- Able to follow direction and complete tasks efficiently
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with Jobber or similar service software is an asset

Physical Requirements

- Ability to lift, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods
- Comfortable performing physical work throughout the day
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as painting, cleaning, and scrubbing
- Comfortable working in vacant suites and a variety of indoor conditions
- Ability to lift and carry cleaning supplies, tools, and materials
