Position Overview

We are currently looking for a Paint Technician to join our team at CSN Turpin Capital Collision.

This position is vacant.

Hourly pay options are available for this role.

Key Responsibilities

- Operates and uses all body shop equipment properly and safely.
- Communicates with other departments regarding the specifications of work on vehicles triaged through Collision Shop
- Masks and protect parts that are not to be painted or coated.
- Prep surfaces
- Mixes paint according to specifications, using prescribed software, as instructed
- Paint the required components of the vehicles returning them to their original state
- Keeps work area clean.
- Maintains and wears all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including a respirator, in the manner recommended by the equipment manufacturer and the ministry of labour.
- Complies with all laws and regulations pertaining to paint, thinners, and other hazardous materials. Reports any deviations to management.
- Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, provincial, and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OHSA, etc.
- Other tasks as assigned.
- Complete medical assessments as required
- Maintain annual paint certification through manufacturer
- Maintain company and OEM quality standards
- Complete paint certifications and training courses as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Collaborate with team members to support efficient operations





Qualifications & Requirements

- Valid driver’s license
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong communication skills

Work Environment & Schedule

- Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
