Galaxy Eyewear is a retail store located near Gastown and Downtown (by Stadium skytrain station). We offer a wide selection of designer sunglasses, ophthalmic glasses and contact lenses.
We are looking for someone to work in a part-time position and may potentially transition into a full-time position.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Pricing and stocking daily shipments of merchandise
- Consistently putting away stock, filing, basic cleaning of glasses in a timely manner
- Greeting customers and providing them with information about products and services
- Processing transactions efficiently and accurately
- Answering phone calls in a courteous, helpful, and professional manner
- Maintaining a clean and organized area
Required knowledge, abilities and skills:
- Strong customer service, sales, and communication skills
- Outgoing and positive attitude
- Computer literate
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Past retail experience preferred
- Ability to focus and pay attention to details
- Language: English (additional languages will be a plus)
Starting pay: $18-20/Hour Hours: 10:30am-6pm
