We are looking for a reliable and experienced Building Operator for a permanent, long-term part-time position at a small office building.
Hours: Approximately 9–15 hours per week, 2–3 days onsite. Weekday schedule is flexible between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain HVAC, boilers, pumps, ventilation, and other building systems
- Perform regular building inspections, preventative maintenance, and basic troubleshooting
- Complete minor repairs such as painting, drywall patching, door adjustments, fixture replacement, and general maintenance
- Participate in on-call responsibilities and respond to occasional after-hours building emergencies or urgent maintenance issues as required
Requirements
- 5th Class Power Engineering Certificate or equivalent building operations experience
- Experience with HVAC, boilers, pumps, ventilation, and general building maintenance
- Strong troubleshooting and handyman skills
- Reliable, punctual, self-motivated, and able to work independently
This is a long-term part-time position and is ideal for someone looking for consistent, adaptable weekday hours. Pay: $30.00-$37.00 per hour
Expected hours: 9.0 – 15.0 per week
