Duties
- Assist pharmacists with preparing prescriptions, labeling medications, and managing inventory stock levels
- Support medication administration processes by verifying prescriptions and maintaining accurate records
- Handle administrative tasks such as processing insurance claims, updating patient information, and managing pharmacy documentation
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace adhering to safety and hygiene standards
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely medication delivery and patient safety
- Stay informed about medical terminology and pharmacy procedures to enhance service quality
Skills Knowing the pharmacy software Fillware is a big plus as well!
- Prior experience working in pharmacy or healthcare environments is highly desirable
- Proven pharmacy assistant experience or related certification is a strong plus
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and medication administration protocols
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate patient care
- Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
