Position:Senior Manager, Finance and AccountingDepartment:FinanceStatus:Full time positionReports to:Finance leaderLocation:Toronto, HybridSalary Range:$80,000 – 120,000Role Type:ReplacementHiring Status:Currently hiringKey ResponsibilitiesLead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements across retail and wholesale divisionsEnsure timely and accurate reporting and provide financial insights and analysis to support executive decision-makingPresent financial results and variance analysisAccounting OperationsOversee all core accounting functions including GL, AP, AR, payroll, and reconciliationsManage multi-entity and multi-currency accountingEnsure accurate revenue recognition, including commissions, markups, and supplier incentivesSupervise and develop the accounting teamBudgeting, Forecasting & AnalysisLead the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecastingAnalyze business performance by product line, destination, and channelIdentify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancementControls, Compliance & Risk ManagementStrengthen and maintain internal controls and financial policiesEnsure compliance with tax regulations, audits, and regulatory requirementsLead year-end audit processes and liaise with external auditorsMitigate financial risks, including fraud prevention and cash flow managementSystems & Process ImprovementDrive improvements in financial systems and reporting toolsPartner with operations to streamline end-to-end processesSpecialized Knowledge, Skills,
