Rockwood Garage Doors is looking for a dependable, organized, and hands-on person to support our shop and field team.

This is a varied position for someone who enjoys practical work and is comfortable doing a bit of everything. The role includes receiving and organizing material, staging jobs, keeping the shop clean and organized, using hand and power tools, completing minor maintenance tasks, helping load vehicles, and occasionally picking up or delivering parts.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can work independently, and can be relied on to show up on time and get the job done properly.

Responsibilities

- Receive and organize supplier deliveries
- Check incoming material against orders
- Stage materials for installations and service calls
- Keep warehouse, storage, and work areas clean and organized
- Load and unload company vehicles
- Use hand and power tools safely
- Cut up old garage door sections and materials for disposal
- Complete minor repairs, maintenance, painting, and general handyman-type tasks
- Break down packaging and dispose of waste
- Help maintain shop equipment, tools, and vehicles
- Pick up or deliver parts and materials when required
- Occasionally assist technicians with shop or field work
- Help with general day-to-day tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For
- Dependable and punctual
- Comfortable using common hand and power tools
- Practical, mechanically inclined, or generally handy
- Able to work independently without constant supervision
- Organized and able to take initiative
- Comfortable with physical work,



lifting, carrying, and working on your feet
- Willing to clean, organize, paint, repair, and help wherever needed
- Valid Ontario driver’s licence
- Secure and competent driver
- Comfortable driving a company pickup truck or service van when required
- Respectful, reliable, and team-oriented

Experience in construction, warehouse work, shipping/receiving, general maintenance, automotive, or the trades is an asset, but not required. Reliability, attitude, common sense, and work ethic are more important to us than having the perfect résumé.

Schedule

This is a consistent 3-day-per-week position.

Option 1: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

Option 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Hours: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

Applicants local to Milton, Rockwood, Guelph, Georgetown, Acton, or surrounding areas may find the commute convenient, but living locally is not required. What matters is being able to reliably arrive at work on time.
