Our team is expanding and we are looking for a Patient Coordinator! We are looking to add two Patient Coordinators to our team to provide coverage during our current Patient Coordinator’s maternity leave. We are open to a variety of schedules, including full-time, part-time and casual, depending on the right candidates and the needs of the clinic.
One of these positions will have the potential to continue into a permanent role following the return of our current Patient Coordinator. The permanent position would have adjusted hours and responsibilities based on the clinic’s needs and the successful candidate’s availability.
We are therefore looking for individuals who are interested not only in providing maternity-leave coverage, but potentially in becoming a long-term member of the Modern Method Clinic team. The maternity leave start date would be January 2027 but training and potential casual shifts will start as soon as the perfect candidates are found.
This is a small team of multi-disciplinary practitioners that need the support of a front desk coordinator with a positive attitude and the self-starting work ethic to recognize tasks that need to be done without even being asked.
Qualifications:
✅ Ability to multi-task - you must be able to juggle a variety of tasks at one time
✅ People person with a customer service aptitude
✅ Positive attitude for greeting customers and clients in a friendly and warm manner upon arrival to the office or through the phone
✅ Knowledge of Janeapp system is bonus but not required
✅ Knowledge of booking systems, EMR/EHR platforms
✅ Quick to learn
✅ Administrative skills to be able to use basic computer programs on an iMac
✅ Flexibility to be able to move between activities and duties quickly if priorities change
Experience is a required but may train the right perfect person!
The successful applicant must be self-motivated, organized, detail oriented, caring and a compassionate individual to connect with patients. It is also important that this person possesses a positive attitude with qualified commitment and is friendly and out-going in a team-oriented environment.
Hours range between the time frame 8:45am- 6:15pm Monday to Thursday and Fridays 8:45am - 2:00pm. Closed Saturdays and Sundays, stat holidays, plus extended holidays.
Duties Include:
✅ Greeting Patients - our patients are known by name and enjoy the personal touch
✅ Booking Patients
✅ Answering Phones and emails - you are the first point of contact for treatment inquiries
✅ Coordinating Practitioners schedules
✅ Direct Billing insurance companies - its important to understand how insurance works
✅ Trouble shooting with insurance companies
✅ Collecting Payments
✅ Printing and compiling reports
✅ Closing a balance daily and fixing any clerical errors
✅ Keeping the clinic clean and organized - this includes sweeping, mopping & bathrooms
✅ Support practitioners with room turnover
✅ Clean and fold laundry throughout the day
✅ Daily cleaning duties throughout the clinic
✅ Posting on Social Media

Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
