Patient Care Coordinator – Mississauga, Ontario

We're looking for a Patient Care Coordinator to join our Respiratory Care team in Mississauga. In this role, you'll handle incoming referrals, book appointments, and verify eligibility for home oxygen therapy and related services. We're looking for someone customer-focused, detail-oriented, and organized, with the ability to manage tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.

What You'll Do

- Warmly welcome clients and assist them with appointments, purchases, and general therapy inquiries.
- Promptly answer telephone calls and faxes, and manage office communication and supplies.
- Billing private insurance and government agencies.
- Keep accurate records of payments and follow up on outstanding accounts.
- Update and maintain client records in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
- Assist clients with equipment setup.
- Make follow-up calls to clients.
- Support marketing efforts by assisting with materials, social media, and patient experience feedback.

What We're Looking For

- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- College diploma in administration or equivalent considered an asset
- A minimum of 2 years customer service experience required; 3-5+ years in a medical office setting considered an asset
- Experience with CPAP considered an asset
- Retail or merchandising experience considered an asset
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills with impeccable attention to detail




- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of products
- Experience with Blueprint, QuickBooks, or other agency portal systems is an asset
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to processes in a constantly changing environment
- A skilled, friendly interpersonal manner with strong customer service values
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good time management and the ability to work effectively under pressure to meet demanding deadlines

- Salary Range: $45,000 - $50,000/year
- Schedule Shift: 40 hrs/week, Monday - Friday
- Work Location: In person
