We are moving away from the traditional, rigid clinic model to focus on natural environment teaching, compassionate care, and meaningful caregiver collaboration. We are currently looking for a passionate and engaging Occupational Therapist to join our team and work directly with the amazing children and families we serve.

Role Overview

We are seeking a compassionate, dynamic, and experienced Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team as an independent contractor, working with children with Autism and developmental disabilities. In this role, you will provide comprehensive OT assessments, individualized intervention plans, and consultative support for children and their families. This is a in-home position offering high flexibility, allowing you to manage your own caseload and schedule while collaborating with a dedicated clinical team.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct standardized and play-based pediatric occupational therapy evaluations focusing on sensory processing, fine/gross motor skills, and self-regulation.
- Design and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each child's unique developmental goals and neurodiversity-affirming frameworks.
- Provide direct therapy services within client homes,



community settings.
- Offer collaborative coaching, environmental adaptation strategies, and practical training to parents, caregivers, and educators.
- Maintain comprehensive clinical documentation, session notes, and progress reports in a timely manner.
- Collaborate seamlessly with behavior analysts (BCBAs), speech-language pathologists, and other members of the multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized university.
- Current, active registration in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO).
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience working in pediatric rehabilitation, early intervention, or developmental settings.
- Strong working knowledge of sensory processing, self-regulation strategies, and family-centered practice.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation (or comfortable traveling across Toronto for community-based sessions).
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) and liability insurance.
