Lead nursing education at UBC Okanagan as a Pediatric Nursing Clinical Instructor. This role focuses on clinical skills training and student evaluation in child health. The University of British Columbia Okanagan is seeking a Term Clinical Instructor for NRSG_O 339: Nursing Practice in Child Health during the term from October 19 to December 9, 2026.
As an instructor, you'll oversee nursing students at Kelowna General Hospital, ensuring they gain critical skills in child health nursing. With a schedule of three days a week, you will guide them through clinical and simulation-based learning experiences. Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and support student learning in clinical settings
- Provide mentorship to current practice teachers when needed
- Attend team meetings and participate in planning
- Keep detailed records of student performance
- Provide written evaluations and feedback at term end Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with BCCNP and a nursing undergraduate degree
- Minimum three years of nursing experience
- Preference for those with pediatric nursing expertise
