CompanyStar Gro ProductsJob OverviewWe are looking for an experienced and motivatedPlanning and Development Director, Udder Healthto join our team in Chilliwack, BC. This specialized role focuses on optimizing udder health and promoting sustainable herd management practices that reduce reliance on conventional medicines and antibiotics. The successful candidate will serve as both a trusted advisor and a key sales representative, helping dairy producers improve performance through science‑based solutions and data‑driven insights.Job DutiesPlan, establish, organize, direct, control, evaluate and grow our company’s wholesale network and loyal customer base, representing Star Gro Products across Canadian dairy marketsDevelop and organize the policies and procedures of this networkIntroduce and promote new products within the dairy industry, communicating their value and application to producers and stakeholdersDevelop action plans and provide expertise in response to our clientele’s needs, supporting and advising project teamsDrive sales performance while conducting product and market research to identify emerging opportunitiesExecute a comprehensive sales and service strategy across multiple regions in Canada, adapting approaches to local market needsDirect and advise distributors and future staff in developing and implementing service quality assessment strategiesPlan and administer budgets for contracts,
equipment and suppliesMonitor and analyze herd data to identify performance gaps and deliver actionable recommendationsSupport customers in implementing best practices to minimize antibiotic usage and improve overall herd health and productivityRequired Qualifications, Skills and AbilitiesDegree or college diploma in Sales, Business Development, Wholesale & International Trade, Logistics Management, Regional Management, or a related fieldSeveral years of experience in Sales Management, Business Development, or Operations Management, preferably in the dairy industry or a directly related industryTrack record in sales, account management or business development within agricultural or livestock sectors is a bonusFamiliarity with udder health management, mastitis prevention, and antibiotic stewardship programs is a solid assetStrong communication and relationship‑building skills for engaging producers, wholesalers, and industry partnersAnalytical mindset with experience interpreting herd performance data and translating findings into practical recommendationsSelf‑motivated, results‑oriented, and capable of managing a broad sales territory independentlyProficiency in standard business software; experience with agricultural data platforms is an advantageGood English language skills, résumé and references acceptedCompensation and BenefitsFull‑time, permanent position (30 hours per week or more)Hourly wage: $55.00–$65.00, depending on experienceHealth spending account up to $1,500 annuallyHealth care benefits and paid time offWork Location9695 McLeod Road, Chilliwack, BC V2P 6H4 (In person)#J-18808-Ljbffr
