The successful candidate will be part of the Allied Health Community Audiology team, providing services to patients across the Edmonton Zone.As a Community Audiologist, you will deliver comprehensive audiology services to individuals of all ages (6 months and older). Your role will include conducting audiological assessments, supporting the prevention, identification, and management of hearing loss, and providing appropriate recommendations and follow-up care. In addition, you may be responsible for supervising hearing screeners to support quality service delivery. Your leadership and interpersonal skills will be significant to you in supervising students and providing clinical guidance to other staff as appropriate. You will use your clinical expertise to inform program development and planning. You will interpret findings, provide counselling regarding hearing loss and balance dysfunction, and establish appropriate intervention plans to manage and reduce the functional impact of hearing loss.
