The role
You will be installing permanent LED track lighting on residential and commercial buildings. Most of your day is spent working from ladders along rooflines, mounting track, running low voltage wire, and making the finished product look clean enough that the customer forgets it is there until they turn it on.
This is hands on work outdoors in Saskatchewan weather. Our busiest stretch runs September through October, so expect steady hours through the fall.
What you will do
- Install the lighting track along rooflines, soffits, and fascia
- Run and conceal low voltage wiring back to a controller
- Mount and configure controllers and light boxes
- Work safely from ladders at height, often two storeys
- Take before and after photos and confirm the finished install with the customer
- Keep the work site clean and leave the property better than you found it
- Handle basic troubleshooting on completed installs
What we are looking for
Required:
- Valid driver's licence and a clean abstract
- Comfortable working at height from ladders for most of the day
- Able to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in cold and wind
- Reliable and on time, every time
- Presentable and comfortable talking to homeowners
Nice to have:
- Experience in roofing, siding, eavestrough, exterior cleaning, electrical, or low voltage work
- Basic understanding of wiring and connections
No lighting experience required. If you have worked at height and you take pride in a straight line, we will train you on the product.
