Nickles Pharmacy is looking for an EXPERIENCED pharmacy assistant to join our team. We are a small, independent, family-owned pharmacy located in Marmora, ON. We're seeking someone who is dependable, friendly, and committed to providing excellent customer service.
We currently have an opening for:
- Pharmacy Assistant (part-time, based on availability and skill)
Experience in a pharmacy setting is required — you must have worked in a pharmacy before and understand the processes that are involved in filling prescriptions and tending to customers. If you do not have experience in pharmacy, your application will automatically be denied. Thank you for your understanding. Duties & Responsibilities The following list outlines the general responsibilities of our pharmacy assistants:
- Assist customers with prescription pickups and general inquiries
- Help the pharmacy team prepare and package prescriptions
- Enter prescription information into the pharmacy software system
- Maintain accurate patient and medication records
- Answer phone calls and assist with refills and other customer requests
- Keep the pharmacy organized, clean, and well-stocked
- Support inventory management and stock organization
- Communicate clearly and professionally with patients in-person and by phone
Skills & Qualifications
- Prior experience in a pharmacy, retail, or customer service role is an asset
- Comfortable using computers and learning recent systems
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organization
- Experience with PharmaClik or Propel is a plus (but not required)

- Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
